হেফাজতে ইসলামের আমির আল্লামা বাবুনগরীর জানাজার নামাজের সময় সন্ধ্যা সাড়ে ৭টা পরিবর্তন করে আজ রাত ১১টায় হাটহাজারী মাদরাসা প্রাঙ্গণে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। পরে ফটিকছড়ির বাবুনগর গ্রামে পারিবারিক কবরস্থানে তাকে দাফন করা হবে।
হাটহাজারী মাদ্রাসার জ্যেষ্ঠ শিক্ষক মাওলানা ইয়াহিয়া জানান, প্রাথমিকভাবে বাবু নগরীর জানাজা সময় রাত ১১টায় নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে। তার দীর্ঘদিনের কর্মস্থল হাটাহাজারী মাদ্রাসা মাঠে জানাজা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।
হেফাজতে ইসলামের আমির আল্লামা জুনায়েদ বাবুনগরী বৃহস্পতিবার বেলা সাড়ে ১২টার দিকে মারা যান। তার মরদেহ চট্টগ্রামের বেসরকারি হাসপাতাল সিএসসিআরে রাখা হয়েছে।
জুনায়েদ বাবুনগরী দীর্ঘদিন ডায়াবেটিকসহ নানা রোগে ভুগছিলেন। আজ বৃহস্পতিবার সকাল সাড়ে ১০টার দিকে শারীরিক অবস্থার অবনতি হলে তাকে চট্টগ্রাম নগরের বেসরকারি হাসপাতাল সিএসসিআরে নেওয়া হয়। পরে দুপুর ১২টার দিকে হাসপাতালের কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক তাকে মৃত ঘোষণা করেন।
