অতিরিক্ত পুলিশ সুপার পদমর্যাদার ৬৩ জন কর্মকর্তাকে পুলিশ সুপার (এসপি) পদে পদোন্নতি দেওয়া হয়েছে।
রোববার (০২ মে) স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের জননিরাপত্তা বিভাগের পুলিশ শাখা-১ এর উপসচিব ধনঞ্জয় কুমার দাস স্বাক্ষরিত এক প্রজ্ঞাপনে এ পদোন্নতি প্রদান করা হয়।
একই দিন স্বরাষ্ট্র মস্ত্রণালয়ের অপর এক আদেশে পুলিশ সুপার (এসপি) পদমর্যাদার সাতজন কর্মকর্তাকে অতিরিক্ত উপ-পুলিশ মহাপরিদর্শক (অতিরিক্ত ডিআইজি) হিসেবে পদোন্নতি দেওয়া হয়েছে।
অতিরিক্ত ডিআইজি হিসেবে পদোন্নতিপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তারা হলেন- পুলিশের অপরাধ তদন্ত বিভাগের (সিআইডি) পুলিশ সুপার মো. সাইফুল ইসলাম, ডিএমপির মতিঝিল বিভাগের উপ-কমিশনার (ডিসি) সৈয়দ নূরুল ইসলাম, ডিএমপির উপ-কমিশনার (অ্যাডমিন) মো. আনিসুর রহমান, ডিএমপির উপ-কমিশনার বিপ্লব বিজয় তালুকদার, তেজগাঁও বিভাগের উপ-কমিশনার (ডিসি) হারুন-অর-রশিদ, পুলিশের বিশেষ শাখা এসবির পুলিশ সুপার মো. মনিরুজ্জামান ও পুলিশ সদর দপ্তরের সহকারী পুলিশ মহাপরিদর্শক শেখ রফিকুল ইসলাম।
