পটুয়াখালীর কলাপাড়ায় মঙ্গলবার বিকাল ৫ টার দিকে র্যাবের অভিযানে জব্দকৃত ৬৩ হাজার পিচ ইয়াবা সিনিয়র জুডিসিয়াল ম্যাজিস্ট্রট আদালতের বিচারক শোভন শাহরিয়ার উপস্থিতিতে বিধি অনুযায়ী ধংস করা হয়েছে। আদালত প্রাঙ্গণে সামনে বসে ধ্বংস করা হয়। এ সময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন কলাপাড়া থানার এস,আই শওকত জাহান, সিনিয়র জুডিসিয়াল ম্যাজিস্ট্রট আদালতের সি,এস,আই মো.জাকির হাসান, জি,আর, ও মো, মুনছুর আলম, মো. জিয়াউর রহমান সহ অন্যান্য কর্মকর্তা ও কর্মচারীরা।
উল্লখ্য, গত ০২ মে শনিবার কলাপাড়া উপজেলার ধানখালী ইউনিয়নর নিশান বাড়ীয়া লঞ্চঘাট এলাকা থেকে র্যাব অভিযান চালিয়ে মাদক ব্যবসায়ী বাবুল মৃধা (৪৫), হাসিনা (২২), ইউসুফ আলী (২৭), সালাম (২৭), নূর আলম (২৬), ইউছুফ (২৬), শাহজাদা (২৪) ও জামাল (২৪)কে উক্ত ইয়াবা এবং একটি মাছ ধরা ট্রলারসহ আটক করে। এ ব্যাপার র্যাব বাদী হয় কলাপাড়া থানায় মাদকদ্রব্য নিয়ন্ত্রণ আইনে একটি মামলা দায়ের করেন। আসামীদের ২ জনের বাড়ি কলাপাড়া উপজেলায় এবং বাকি ৬ জনের বাড়ি পার্শ্ববর্তী বরগুনা জেলার বিভিন্ন উপজেলায়।
