পটুয়াখালীর গলাচিপায় মসজিদের ভিত্তি প্রস্তর স্থাপন করলেন উপজেলা আওয়ামী লীগের দপ্তর সম্পাদক ও গোলখালী ইউনিয়ন চেয়ারম্যান মো. নাসিরউদ্দিন হাওলাদার।
শুক্রবার (২৫ জুন) জুমার নামাজের পর গোলখালী ইউনিয়নের ছোট গাবুয়া মহিলা দাখিল মাদ্রাসা সংলগ্ন জামে মসজিদের ভিত্তিপ্রস্তর স্থাপন কাজের শুভ উদ্বোধন করেন। এ সময় তিনি মুসল্লীদের উদ্দেশ্যে বলেন, আপনাদের এই মসজিদে মুসল্লীদের জায়গা সংকুলন হচ্ছে না এবং পুরাতন হয়ে যাওয়ায় মসজিদের মুসল্লিদের নামাজ সহ অন্যান্য ইবাদতে ব্যাঘাত ঘটছে। তাই এখানে নতুন করে মসজিদটি সম্প্রসারন ও পাকা করা হবে।
বর্তমান সরকারের সময় ব্যাপক আকারে উন্নয়ন হচ্ছে। এরই অংশ হিসেবে সারা দেশে ৫৬০টি মডেল মসজিদ সহ আরো অনেক মসজিদ স্থাপন করা হচ্ছে। মানুষ যাতে নির্বিঘ্নে ইবাদত করতে পারে এ জন্য সরকার সবসময় আপনাদের সাথে আছে। এ সময়ে এলাকার ইমাম, মোয়াজ্জেম সহ এলাকার মুসল্লিরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
