নেত্রকোনার আটপাড়ায় যাত্রীবাহী অটোরিকাশার চাকায় ওড়নার পেঁচিয়ে ঝর্না আক্তার (১০) নামে এক স্কুলছাত্রীর মৃত্যু হয়েছে। বুধবার রাত ৮টার দিকে উপজেলার স্বল্প সুনুই এলাকায় এ দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে।
নিহত ঝর্না আক্তার পাশরন বারহাট্রা উপজেলার ডেমুড়া গ্রামের নূরুজ্জামানের মেয়ে। সে ডেমুড়া সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ের পঞ্চম শ্রেণির ছাত্রী ছিল।
পুলিশ ও স্থানীয় এলাকাবাসী সূত্রে জানা যায়, স্কুলছাত্রী ঝর্না আক্তার দাদির সঙ্গে বুধবার সন্ধ্যা ৭টার দিকে নেত্রকোনা থেকে অটোরিকশায় বাড়ি ফিরছিল। অটোরিকশাটি আটপাড়া উপজেলার স্বল্প সুনুই এলাকায় আসলে অসাবধনতাবসত ঝর্নার ওড়না রিকশার চাকায় পেঁচিয়ে যায়। এ সময় সে রিকশা থেকে রাস্তায় পড়ে গিয়ে গুরুতর আহত হয়। স্থানীয়রা তাকে উদ্ধার করে আটপাড়া উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে নিয়ে ভর্তি করলে সেখানে কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক তাকে মৃত ঘোষণা করেন।
আটপাড়া থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) মো. জাফর ইকবাল বলেন, স্বজনদের আবেদনের প্রেক্ষিতে নিহতের লাশ ময়নাতদন্ত ছাড়াই দাফনের অনুমতি দেওয়া হয়েছে। এ ব্যাপারে থানায় একটি অপমৃত্যু মামলা দায়ের করা হয়েছে।
