ডিজিটাল নিরাপত্তা আইন বাতিলের দাবিতে বরিশালে সংহতি সমাবেশ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। বরিশালের বিক্ষুব্ধ ছাত্র জনতার ব্যানারে আজ বৃহষ্পতিবার সকাল সাড়ে ১১টায় নগরীর সদর রোডের অশ্বিনী কুমার হলের সামনে এই সংহতি সমাবেশ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
ছাত্র ইউনিয়ন বরিশাল বিএম কলেজ শাখার সভাপতি কিশোর চন্দ্র বালার সভাপতিত্বে সংহতি সমাবেশে একাত্মতা প্রকাশ করে বক্তব্য রাখেন জেলা গণসংহতি আন্দোলনের আহবায়ক দেওয়ান আব্দুর রশীদ নিলু, গণতান্ত্রিক ছাত্র কাউন্সিল বরিশাল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় শাখার সংগঠক অদিতী দাস, ছাত্র অধিকার পরিষদ মহানগর শাখার সাধারন সম্পাদক মো. মুন্না সহ অন্যান্যরা।
এ সময় বক্তারা কার্টুনিস্ট কিশোরের বিরুদ্ধে দায়েরকৃত মামলা প্রত্যাহার এবং লেখক মুশতাক আহমেদের মৃত্যুর ঘটনা তদন্ত করে সুষ্ঠু বিচার দাবি করেন। ডিজিটাল নিরাপত্তা আইন দিয়ে জনগণের কণ্ঠরোধের প্রচেষ্টা চালানো হচ্ছে বলে অভিযোগ করেন তারা। অবিলম্বে ডিজিটাল নিরাপত্তা আইন বাতিলের দাবি জানান বক্তারা। না হলে কঠোর আন্দোলন গড়ে তোলার হুশিয়ারী দেন তারা।
