ভারতের পেট্রাপোল বন্দরের অভ্যন্তরীণ কোন্দলে বেনাপোল-পেট্রোপোল বন্দরের মধ্যে দুই দিন বন্ধ থাকার পর পুনরায় সচল হয়েছে।
বেনাপোল বন্দরের সহকারী চালক (ট্রাফিক) সঞ্জয় বাড়ৈ আজ দুপুরে বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন।
তিনি জানান, ভারতের পেট্রাপোল বন্দরের মধ্যে সঠিক পরিচয়পত্রবিহীন ভারতীয় ট্রাক চালক ও ট্রান্সপোর্ট কর্মচারীদের ভারতীয় সীমান্ত রক্ষী বাহিনী বিএসএফ সদস্যরা প্রবেশে বাধা দেওয়ায় দুই দেশের মধ্যে গত ১৭ জানুয়ারি সকাল থেকে আমদানি-রপ্তানি বাণিজ্য বন্ধ করে দেয় ভারতীয় ট্রান্সপোর্ট অ্যাসোসিয়েশন।
দুপুর থেকে তারা দুই দেশের মধ্যে আমদানি-রপ্তানি বাণিজ্য সচল করেছে। তবে তাদের এ সমস্যা সমাধান হয়েছে কি না জানেন না বলে জানান তিনি।
