বাংলাদেশ, ভারত, ফিলিপাইন, নেপাল ও শ্রীলঙ্কার জন্য গৃহকর্মীর ভিসা চালু করেছে কুয়েত।গত রবিবার (১৭ জানুয়ারি) থেকে কুয়েতের নাগরিকদের গৃহকর্মী আনতে ভিসার জন্য বিভিন্ন শ্রম সংস্থার মাধ্যমে আবেদন অনুমোদন দেয়া হয়েছে।
সুপ্রিম কমিটির সিদ্ধান্তের ভিত্তিতে বাংলাদেশ, ভারত, ফিলিপাইন, শ্রীলঙ্কা ও নেপাল থেকে সরাসরি বিমানের মাধ্যমে শুধু গৃহকর্মী প্রবেশ করতে দেয়া হবে। কুয়েত আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর থেকে বাণিজ্যিক বিমান পুনরায় চালু করার পর এই সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়া হয়।
স্পনসর (মালিক) এবং বিমান সংস্থার টিকিট, প্রাতিষ্ঠানিকভাবে পৃথকীকরণ এবং প্রয়োজনীয় অর্থ প্রদানের মাধ্যমে কুয়েতে আসার জন্য নতুন গৃহকর্মীদের বালসামা অ্যাপে নিবন্ধন করতে হবে।
ছুটিতে আটকে পড়া গৃহকর্মীদের চলতি মাসের শেষের দিকে প্রথমে শ্রীলঙ্কান এরপর বাংলাদেশ ও নেপালে চলতি মাসের শেষের দিক থেকে প্রথম বিমানটি গৃহকর্মী নিয়ে আসবে। এরপর বাংলাদেশ ও নেপালের গৃহকর্মীদের সরাসরি কুয়েতে প্রবেশের কথা রয়েছে।
