নাটোরের বড়াইগ্রাম উপজেলার জোনাইল ইউনিয়নে দুই হাজার মানুষের মাঝে মাস্ক ও হ্যান্ড স্যানিটাইজার বিতরন করেন আসন্ন ইউনিয়ন পরিষদ নির্বাচনে জোনাইল ইউনিয়ন থেকে নৌকা প্রত্যাশী চেয়ারম্যান পদপ্রার্থী আবু হেলাল।
শনিবার সকালে ইউনিয়নের বিভিন্ন জায়গায় ঘুরে ঘুরে মাস্ক ও হ্যান্ড স্যানিটাইজার বিরতন করেন এবং সবাইকে সামাজিক দূরত্ব বজায় রেখে চলতে অনুরোধ করেন আবু হেলাল ও তার সহযোগীরা।
এ সময় ইউনিয়নের মানুষেরা মাস্ক ও হ্যান্ড স্যানিটাইজার পেয়ে আবু হেলালের প্রশংসা করেন।
আবু হেলাল বলেন, করোনার এই মহামারীতে বাংলাদেশকে রক্ষা করতে স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনে চলা এবং মাস্ক ব্যবহার করা ছাড়া কোনো উপায় নেই। জোনাইলবাসীর সেবা করার উদ্দেশ্যে চেয়ারম্যান প্রার্থী হয়েছি। জোনাইলবাসীর ভালোর জন্য এবং তাদের সেবার উদ্দেশ্যে আমার এই কর্মসূচী। সেবা ব্যতীত অন্য কোনো উদ্দেশ্য আমার নেই।
তিনি আরো বলেন,যদি জোনাইলবাসী আমাকে নির্বাচিত করে তাহলে জোনাইল ইউনিয়ন পরিষদকে জনগণের পরিষদে রুপান্তরিত করবো। যেখানে জনগনের কথায় হবে একেকটা আদেশ আর তাদের চাহিদা পূরণই হবে পরিষদের মূল লক্ষ।
