সরকারী নির্দেশনা ও সামাজিক দুরত্ব বজায় রেখে যথাযোগ্য মর্যাদায় মণিরামপুরে উপজেলা প্রশাসনের আয়োজনে গণহত্যা দিবস পালিত হয়েছে। সরকারী দিবসটি উপলক্ষে বৃহস্পতিবার দুপুরে উপজেলা পরিষদ মিলায়াতনে অনুষ্ঠিত আলোচনা সভায় প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে বক্তব্য রাখেন উপজেলা আওয়ামীলীগের সভাপতি ও পৌর মেয়র আলহাজ্জ্ব অধ্যক্ষ কাজী মাহমুদুল হাসান।
উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার সৈয়দ জাকির হাসানের সভাপতিত্বে ও উপজেলা সমাজসেবা কর্মকর্তা রোকনুজ্জামানের পরিচালনায় অন্যান্যের মধ্যে বক্তব্য রাখেন উপজেলা পরিষদ চেয়ারম্যান নাজমা খানম, উপজেলা ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান ও উপজেলা যুবলীগের আহবায়ক উত্তম চক্রবর্তী বাচ্চু, মহিলা ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান ও উপজেলা যুব মহিলালীগের সভাপতি কাজী জলি আক্তার, সহকারী কমিশনার (ভূমি) পলাশ কুমার দেবনাথ, সাবেক উপজেলা মুক্তিযোদ্ধা কমান্ডার আলাউদ্দিন, ইউপি চেয়ারম্যান আব্দুর রাজ্জাক, শেখর চন্দ্র রায়, মনিরুজ্জামন মনিসহ প্রমুখ।
এ সময়ে উপজেলা প্রশাসনের বিভিন্ন স্তরের কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারী ও জনপ্রতিনিধিরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
