মণিরামপুরে যুবলীগের উদ্যোগে বিভিন্ন শ্রেণি পেশার মানুষ, পথচারী রোজাদারদের মাঝে ইফতার সামগ্রী বিতরন করা হয়েছে।
প্রধানমন্ত্রী জননেত্রী শেখ হাসিনার নির্দেশে ও বাংলাদেশ আওয়ামী যুবলীগের চেয়ারম্যান শেখ ফজলে শামস পরশ ও সাধারণ সম্পাদক মাইনুল হোসেন খান নিখিলের আহ্বানে চলমান কার্যক্রমের অংশ হিসেবে শুক্রবার বিকেলে ইফতার পুর্ব মুহুর্ত পর্যন্ত এ ইফতার বিতরণ করা হয়।
পৌরশহরের গাংড়ার মোড় এলাকায় মণিরামপুর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা কমপ্লেক্স ভবনের সামনে পৌর যুবলীগনেতা ও পৌর কাউন্সিলর সুমন দাসের সার্বিক তত্বাবধানে এতে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থেকে ইফতার বিতরণ করেন উপজেলা যুবলীগের আহবায়ক ও উপজেলা ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান উত্তম চক্রবর্তী বাচ্চু।
এ সময়ে অন্যান্যের মধ্যে উপস্থিত ছিলেন উপজেলা যুবলীগের যুগ্ম আহবায়ক শরিফুল ইসলাম রিপন, পৌর যুবলীগের সভাপতি এসএম লুৎফর রহমান, সাধারণ সম্পাদক রবিউল ইসলাম রবি, যুবলীগনেতা বিল্লাল হোসেন, রবিউল, রাসেল খান, ছাত্রনেতা মেহেদী হাসানসহ উপজেলা ও পৌর যুবলীগের নেতাবৃন্দ।
