গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় রাজশাহী মেডিকেল কলেজ (রামেক) হাসপাতালের করোনা আইসোলেশন ইউনিটে আরও চারজন মারা গেছেন। চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় রোববার (২৬ সেপ্টেম্বর) সকাল ৯টা থেকে সোমবার (২৭ সেপ্টেম্বর) সকাল ৯টার মধ্যে তারা মারা যান। এই চারজনই মারা গেছেন করোনা সংক্রমণের উপসর্গ নিয়ে। এদের মধ্যে তিনজন চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জের বাসিন্দা। অন্যজনের বাড়ি রাজশাহীতে।
রামেক হাসপাতালের পরিচালক ব্রিগেডিয়ার জেনারেল শামীম ইয়াজদানী জানান, গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় রামেক হাসপাতালে করোনা সংক্রমণে কোনো রোগী মৃত্যু হয়নি। তবে করোনা সংক্রমণের উপসর্গ নিয়ে হাসপাতালের নিবিড় পরিচর্যাকেন্দ্রে (আইসিইউ) চারজন মারা গেছেন।
এর আগে রোববার রামেক হাসপাতাল ল্যাবে ৯০ জনের নমুনা পরীক্ষা হয়েছে। এর মধ্যে করোনা ধরা পড়েছে দুজনের নমুনায়। একই দিনে রাজশাহী মেডিকেল কলেজ ল্যাবে নমুনা পরীক্ষা হয়েছে আরও ২২৯ জনের। এর মধ্যে করোনা শনাক্ত হয়েছে আটজনের। পরীক্ষার অনুপাতে রাজশাহীর ২ দশমিক ৩৩ শতাংশ এবং নাটোরের ৭ দশমিক ৫৫ শতাংশ নমুনায় করোনা ধরা পড়েছে।
