বাংলাদেশ নৌবাহীনি বরগুনা কন্টিনজেন্ট’র উদ্যোগে শহরের বিভিন্ন স্থানে জীবানুনাশক স্প্রে করা হয়েছে।
আজ শুক্রবার (৮ মে) সকাল ১১ টার দিকে পৌরসভার সহযোগিতায় শহরের পৌর নাথপট্টি এলাকা থেকে বিভিন্ন স্থানে ২হাজার ৫’শ লিটার জীবানুনাশক স্প্রে করেছেন নৌবাহিনীর একটি টিম।
নভেল করোনা (কোভিড-১৯) এর শুরু থেকেই বাংলাদেশ সরকার বিভিন্ন পদক্ষেপ গ্রহন করেছেন। এর মধ্যে সশস্র বাহিনীর সহযোগিতায় দেশের বিভিন্ন দুর্গম এলাকাগুলোতে পৌঁছে দিচ্ছেন হুঁশিয়ারী বার্তা। যার অগ্রণী ভূমিকায় রয়েছেন বাংলাদেশ নৌবাহিনী।
জীবানুনাশক স্প্রে করাকালীন নেতৃত্ব প্রদানকারী লেফট্যান্যান্ট কমান্ডার তানভীর আহমেদ (এক্স) বিএন জানান, করোনা ভাইরাস থেকে সাধারণ মানুষকে রক্ষা করতে সচেতনতামূলক বার্তা পৌঁছে দেয়া হচ্ছে। সেই সাথে বরগুনা শহর ও এর অন্য উপজেলাগুলোতেও আমাদের জীবানুনাশক স্প্রে কার্যক্রম যথাযথ ভাবে পরিচালিত হচ্ছে। আমরা বাংলাদেশ নৌবাহীনি সাধারণ মানুষকে এ ভয়াবহ করোনার কড়াল গ্রাস থেকে স্বাস্থ সুরক্ষা দিতে সচেষ্ট থাকব।
