মিয়ানমারে শান্তিপূর্ণভাবে সেনা অভ্যুত্থানবিরোধী আন্দোলনে এবার নতুন কৌশল বেছে নিয়েছে প্রতিবাদকারীরা। যার মধ্যে সবচেয়ে বেশি সাড়া ফেলেছে ‘গাড়ি নষ্ট’ অজুহাত দেখিয়ে সড়ক অবরোধ।
সেনাবাহিনীর হুমকি-ধামকি উপেক্ষা করেই গত বুধবার দেশটির বৃহত্তম শহর ইয়াঙ্গুনে সমবেত হন কয়েক হাজার মানুষ। এতে অংশ নেন তরুণ-বৃদ্ধ, শ্রমিক, শিক্ষক, বৌদ্ধ ভিক্ষুসহ নানা শ্রেণি-পেশার মানুষ।
তাদের মধ্যে অনেকেই পোশাকের ওপর লাল ফিতা পরে এবং তিন আঙুলের স্যালুট দেখিয়ে সেনাশাসনের প্রতিবাদ জানান।
একই সময় ইয়াঙ্গুনের প্রধান সড়ক এবং সেতুগুলোর ওপর হঠাৎই যানজট তৈরি হয়। তবে সেটি ছিল পুরোটাই ইচ্ছাকৃত। গাড়ি নষ্ট হয়ে গেছে বা তেল ফুরিয়ে গেছে অজুহাতে সড়কে দাঁড়িয়ে পড়ে শত শত গাড়ি।
উল্লেখ্য,দেশটিতে প্রায় দু’সপ্তাহ ধরে সেনা অভ্যুত্থানের বিরুদ্ধে বিক্ষোভ করছেন সাধারণ মানুষজন। এর মধ্যে বেশ কয়েকবার জনতা-পুলিশ সংঘর্ষ হয়েছে। নিরাপত্তাবাহিনী বিক্ষোভকারীদের ওপর কয়েকবার গুলি চালালেও বেশিরভাগ ক্ষেত্রে তা ছিল রাবার বুলেট।
