আওয়ামী লীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক ওবায়দুল কাদের বলেছেন, সরকারকে লক্ষ্যবস্তু বানাতে গিয়ে বিএনপি দেশকে লক্ষ্যবস্তু বানাচ্ছে এবং দেশের ভাবমূর্তির ক্ষতি করছে।
তিনি বলেন, শেখ হাসিনার সরকারের বিরুদ্ধে চক্রান্ত চলছে। শুধু আল জাজিরা নয়, দেশে-বিদেশে ষড়যন্ত্রের গোপন বৈঠক হচ্ছে। তবে কোনও ষড়যন্ত্রই শেখ হাসিনার প্রতি জনমনের আস্থাকে দুর্বল করতে পারবে না।
ওবায়দুল কাদের আজ মঙ্গলবার (২৩ ফেব্রুয়ারি) সড়ক ও জনপথ অধিদফতর আয়োজিত ‘বঙ্গবন্ধুর জন্মশতবার্ষিকী’ এবং পাবনা জেলার চাটমোহর থানা আওয়ামী লীগের সম্মেলনে ভিডিও কনফারেন্সে যুক্ত হয়ে এসব কথা বলেন।
আওয়ামী লীগ সাধারণ সম্পাদক বলেন, শেখ হাসিনার উন্নয়নের রাজনীতি বিএনপির আন্দোলন ভাবনায় সংকটের কালো ছায়া ফেলেছে। আর তাই নিজেদের ব্যর্থতা ঢাকতেই মানুষের স্বস্তি নষ্ট করার পাঁয়তারা করছে বিএনপি।
দেশ-বিদেশে অপপ্রচারের বাক্স খুলে বসা বিএনপি আন্দোলনের নামে আগুন সন্ত্রাস এবং দেশ ও সরকারবিরোধী আল জাজিরার অপপ্রচার একই সূত্রে গাঁথা।
