ডা. দিনার জেবিন নামে এক চিকিৎসক করোনাভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়ে গর্ভের সন্তানসহ মারা গেছেন (ইন্না লিল্লাহি ওয়া ইন্না ইলাইহি রাজিউন)।
শুক্রবার (২৫ জুন) ভোরে চট্টগ্রামের একটি বেসরকারি হাসপাতালের আইসিইউতে চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় মারা যান তিনি। শত চেষ্টা করেও বাঁচানো যায়নি তার গর্ভের সন্তানকেও।
ডা. দিনার জেবিন রাজধানীর হলি ফ্যামিলি মেডিকেল কলেজের সাবেক শিক্ষার্থী এবং চট্টগ্রাম মা ও শিশু হাসপাতাল মেডিকেল কলেজের কমিউনিটি মেডিসিন বিভাগের প্রভাষক।
দুই সপ্তাহ আগে ডা. জেবিনের করোনা শনাক্ত হলে তাকে চট্টগ্রাম নগরীর একটি বেসরকারি হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়। সেখানে চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় আজ সকালে তার মৃত্যু হয়। বাদ জুমা দেওয়ানহাট ফায়ার ব্রিগেডের সামনে জানাজা শেষে তাকে পারিবারিক কবরস্থানে দাফন করা হয়।
