বাবা-মাকে সমঝোতায় আনতে স্ব স্ব আইনজীবীদের নির্দেশ দিয়েছিল আদালত। আর সে মোতাবেক সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছেন জাপানি নারী মা এরিকো ও বাবা ইমরান শরীফ।
এর আগে বৃহস্পতিবার (১৯ আগস্ট) সন্তানদের ফিরে পেতে হাইকোর্টে রিট আবেদন করেন জাপানি নাগরিক নাকানো এরিকো।
রিটে বিচারপতি এম. ইনায়েতুর রহিম ও বিচারপতি মো. মোস্তাফিজুর রহমানের ভার্চুয়াল বেঞ্চ এরিকোর দুই সন্তানসহ বাংলাদেশি বংশোদ্ভূত মার্কিন নাগরিক শরীফ ইমরান ও তার বোনকে (ফুফু) সশরীরে আদালতে উপস্থিত হওয়ার নির্দেশ দেন।
একই সঙ্গে এক মাসের জন্য শরীফ ইমরান ও দুই শিশুর বাংলাদেশ ত্যাগে নিষেধাজ্ঞা দেওয়া হয়।
এরপর গত ২২ আগস্ট পুলিশের অপরাধ তদন্ত বিভাগ (সিআইডি) স্বামী ইমরান শরীফের কাছে থাকা দুই মেয়েকে উদ্ধার করে। পরে তাদের আদালতের নির্দেশে তেজগাঁওয়ের উইমেন সাপোর্ট সেন্টারে রাখা হয়।
