পটুয়াখালীর গলাচিপায় আইনশৃঙ্খলা মাসিক সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। উপজেলা পরিষদের আয়োজনে মঙ্গলবার বেলা ১১টায় অডিটোরিয়াম হল রুমে উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার আশিষ কুমার এর সভাপতিত্বে এ আইনশৃঙ্খলা মাসিক সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। সভায় প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন উপজেলা পরিষদ চেয়ারম্যান মু.
শাহিন শাহ। আরও উপস্থিত ছিলেন সহকারী কমিশনার ভূমি মোঃ নজরুল ইসলাম, গলাচিপা থানা অফিসার ইনচার্জ (ওসি) এমআর শওকত আনোয়ার ইসলাম, উপজেলা আওয়ামীলীগের সভাপতি প্রফেসর সন্তোষ কুমার দে, উপজেলা পল্লি উন্নয়ন কর্মকর্তা মাহবুব হাসান শিবলী,
গলাচিপা প্রেসক্লাবের সভাপতি সমিত কুমার দত্ত মলয়, সিনিয়র সাংবাদিক খালিদ হোসেন মিলটন, সাংবাদিক সোহাগ রহমান, সাংবাদিক সঞ্জিব দাস, সাংবাদিক কমল সরকারসহ বারোটি ইউনিয়নের চেয়ারম্যান বৃন্দ ও সচিবগন উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
এ সময় বক্তারা কুমিল্লা ও পীরগঞ্জসহ বাংলাদেশের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলের উস্কানিমূলক সাম্পদায়িকতার বিষয়ে খোলা মেলা আলোচনা করেন এবং সকল ইউনিয়ন পর্যায়ে সুধীসমাজ থেকে শুরু করে চেয়ারম্যান, মেম্বর ও দলীয় নেতাকর্মীদেরকে এ ব্যাপারে সতর্ক থাকার আহব্বান জানানো হয়।
