বরিশালের বাকেরগঞ্জে ছয় বছরের শিশুকে ধর্ষণের অভিযোগে গ্রেপ্তার হওয়া যশোর শিশু উন্নয়ন কেন্দ্রের চার শিশুকে কারাগারে পাঠানোর নির্দেশদাতা সিনিয়র জুডিশিয়াল ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট এনায়েত উল্লাহ হাইকোর্টে উপস্থিত হয়ে নিঃশর্ত ক্ষমা চেয়ে আবেদন করেছেন।
রোববার (১১ অক্টোবর) হাইকোর্টের বিচারপতি মো. মজিবুর রহমান মিয়া ও বিচারপতি মহিউদ্দিন শামীমের সমন্বয়ে গঠিত বেঞ্চে বিষয়টি শুনানির জন্য নির্ধারিত রয়েছে।
এর আগে ওই চার শিশুকে কারাগারে পাঠানোর ঘটনায় তলবে হাইকোর্ট উপস্থিত হন বরিশালের সিনিয়র জুডিশিয়াল ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট এনায়েত উল্লাহ।
সকাল সাড়ে ১১টায় সশরীরে তাকে উপস্থিত হওয়ার জন্য বলা হয়েছিল। একই সঙ্গে অভিভাবকসহ ওই চার শিশু ও বাকেরগঞ্জ থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তাকে (ওসি) উপস্থিত থাকতে বলা হয়। সে অনুযায়ী আজ রোববার সকালে তারা হাইকোর্টে উপস্থিত হন।
এ বিষয়ে চার শিশুর বক্তব্য শুনতে তাদের বেলা ১১টা ৫০ মিনিটের দিকে বিচারকের খাস কামরায় নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়।
