মন্টিনিগ্রোতে এক বন্দুকধারীর গুলিতে অন্তত ১০ জন নিহত হয়েছেন। শুক্রবার (১২ আগস্ট) রাজধানী পডগোরিকার অদূরে কেন্দ্রীয় শহর সেটিনজেতে এই গুলিন ঘটনা ঘটে। স্থানীয় গণমাধ্যমের খবরে বলা হয়েছে, এ ঘটনায় এক পুলিশ কর্মকর্তাসহ অন্তত ছয়জন আহত হয়েছেন। খবর বিবিসি।
জানা গেছে সন্দেহভাজন বন্দুকধারী পারিবারিক কলহে জড়িত ছিলেন। ঘটনার সময় আইন প্রয়োগকারী সংস্থার সদস্যদের পাল্টা গুলিতে তিনি নিহত হয়েছেন।
স্থানীয়রা জানান, হামলাকারী নিজে গুলিবিদ্ধ হওয়ার আগে আশেপাশের পথচারীদের ওপর এলোপাথাড়ি গুলি চালান।
এই মর্মান্তিক ঘটনার পর দেশটির প্রধানমন্ত্রী দ্রিতান আবজোভিচ তিন দিনের রাষ্ট্রীয় শোক ঘোষণা করছেন।
সামাজিক যোগাযোগ মাধ্যম টেলিগ্রামে তিনি লিখেছেন, আমি মন্টিনিগ্রোর সব নাগরিককে নির্দোষ নিহতদের পরিবারের পাশে থাকার আহ্বান জানাচ্ছি। ’
