ঝিনাইদহে গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় উপসর্গ নিয়ে একজনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। নতুন করে করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়েছে ৩৬ জন। তবে জেলায় মৃত্যু ও আক্রান্ত অনেকটাই কমে কমেছে। এছাড়া সুস্থতার হার বেড়েছে।
সিভিল সার্জন ডা: সেলিনা বেগম জানান, গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ঝিনাইদহ সদর হাসপাতালের করোনা ইউনিটে চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় উপসর্গে একজন মারা গেছে। এ নিয়ে সরকারি হিসাবে করোনায় মৃত্যুর সংখ্যা ২৫১ জনে দাঁড়াল। এদের মধ্যে সববেশি মৃত্যু হয়েছে সদরে ২০০, শৈলকুপায় ১৮, হরিণাকুন্ডুতে ৯, কালীগঞ্জে ১০, কোটচাঁদপুরে ৭ ও মহেশপুরে ৭ জন।
আজ সোমবার সকালে ঝিনাইদহ ও কুষ্টিয়া ল্যাব থেকে ১৬৩ জনের নমুনা পরীক্ষার ফলাফলে ৩৬ জনের পজেটিভ এসেছে। আক্রান্তের হার ২২ দশমিক ৮ শতাংশ। এ নিয়ে জেলায় মোট আক্রান্ত রোগীর সংখ্যা দাঁড়াল ৮,৭৯৫ জনে। এছাড়াও গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় করোনার সাথে লড়াই নতুন সুস্থ হয়েছে ২৬ জন। এ নিয়ে জেলায় মোট সুস্থ হয়েছে ৬৮৬১ জন।
ঝিনাইদহ সদর হাসপাতালের নার্সিং সুপারভাইজার শামীম আরা জানান, বর্তমানে সদর হাসপাতালের করোনা ইউনিটে ভর্তি ২০ ও আইসোলেশনে ১৬ জন রয়েছে এবং ৬টি উপজেলায় মোট ভর্তি ৩৮ জন।
