নেত্রকোনা সদর উপজেলার মদনপুর কাংসা গুচ্ছ গ্রাম থেকে মালয়েশিয়া প্রবাসী রিপন মিয়ার স্ত্রী শরীফা আক্তার (৩৫) গলাকাটা মৃতদেহ উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ। শনিবার সকালে নিজ ঘরের বিছানা থেকে শরিফার মরদেহ উদ্ধার করা হয়।
নেত্রকোনা মডেল থানার ওসি খন্দকার শাকের আহমেদ জানান, রাতে মা ও মেয়ে কিশোরী সাদিয়া আক্তার একসাথে ঘুমিয়েছিল। সকালে ওই শরিফা আক্তারের গলাকাটা লাশ দেখে মেয়ে সাদিয়ার চিৎকার চেঁচামেচিতে প্রতিবেশীরা এগিয়ে আসে। পরে স্থানীয়রা পুলিশে খবর দেয়।
খবর পেয়ে স্থানীয় পুলিশ ময়মনসিংহের সিআইডির একটি চৌকস দল ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছে সুরতহাল রেকর্ড করে। পরে ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য নেত্রকোনা আধুনিক সদর হাসপাতাল মর্গে প্রেরণ করে। ঘটনা তদন্তে কাজ করছে পুলিশ।
এ দিকে ঘটনাস্থল পরিদর্শন করেছেন নেত্রকোনা অতিরিক্ত পুলিশ সুপার ফখরুজ্জামান জুয়েল। নিহতের মেয়ে সাদিয়া আক্তারকেও জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করছে পুলিশ। রিপন মিয়া গেল তিন বছর যাবত মালয়েশিয়ায় রয়েছেন।
